Board Packet

One of MERIDIAN'S most valuable resources to assist Association Board of Directors is it's custom "Board Packet" with information distributed to each member of the Board one week prior to each scheduled Board meeting.  The Packet informs each Board Member of all community and/or Association activities that have transpired since the last meeting of the Board. 

 

The following is a sample of the contents of a typical Board Packet that may be tailored to the special needs of each community:

 

  • Meeting Agenda - layout of order and items to be discussed
  • Minutes of previous meeting
  • Financial Reports - balance sheet, budget comparison report, cash disbursements and delinquency report
  • Action Items - pending items for discussion and review
  • Community Goals and Progress - an executive summary of the reporting perid
  • New Homeowners Listing - all title transfers recorded during the reporting period
  • Contract Summaries - a listing of all contracts, including vendors, maturity dates and costs
  • Resolutions - all formal policies adopted by the Board in accordance with the Bylaws
  • Documents  - CC&R's Bylaws and Policies   
  • Manager's Report - a report/update of legal matters, and the status of unfinished (old) business
  • Community Development Report - status of development inside community and update of outside development impacting the community
  • Other Applicable Enclosures - letters/correspondence from homeowners, news articles, and seminar/class schedules
